Cowboys Stadium G.M. pleads guilty to DUI

The General Manager of the North Texas Football Cathedral got into a little hot water earlier this year, as a result of a decision to drive his car after drinking some water with a little heat in it.

And so Jack Hill has pleaded guilty to DUI.  Hill has been sentenced to 15 days in a Tarrant County, Texas labor detail.

A Cowboys spokesman said that Hill continues to serve as G.M. of the new arena.

Though we’re not advocating that he should be fired completely, the notion that he’d continue in such a significant role at a time when the league is trying hard to persuade fans not to drive home drunk from places like Cowboys Stadium seems a little odd to us.

Then again, I grew up in the Dean Martin cigarettes and scotch decade of the ’70s, when the most common refrain in many suburban households was, “Do as I say, not as I do.”

Who cares? I hope you don’t start publicly naming parking attendants and beer vendors.
I know you have to fill space, but this is a stretch.

His community service should be to raise the Zenith a little higher.

Why don’t you you report on the ushers and consession workers mishaps as well.
Your bound to find some Meth arrests and wife beaters in that crowd as well.
Seems you gig a little deep to report on some teams but somehow miss the stories on the teams you have a odd type of man love for.
We all know who I’m talking about, don’t we?

By the way, wasn’t Dean Martin from your part of the world? He oft refered to his hometown as Stuporville. That being said, aren’t you part of that world also?

He is the manager of the stadium.
    The stadium, Florio.
    The stadium.

If he should not be in his same role anymore how about we remove the players the same way then. That way we can move some of these UFL guys that want to play in the NFL here…..
Probably the Login tech for NBC ProFootbalTalk is still drunk, since even clicking remember me box on the login does not seem to help. Damn Hamsters must be killing their brain cells drinking and spinning the wheels…

Yeah, this guy gets one DUI, so he should be fired. Too bad he didn’t kill anyone, or else he could be the starting defensive end for the Rams. He’s going to get 15 days in the can, but thankfully he didn’t take out some jaywalker, because then he’d get 30 days.

I’d be drunk, too, if I was forced to associate with that horrorshow of a team.

LOL…Just more bad spin for Facelift Jones!! I love it! I’m telling you, the unfortunate accident of their training camp tent was just a sign of things to come in Small D. It’s a shame Me-Oh was run out of town…that way I could watch both blow up this season! Now I have to actually watch Buffalo games. Maybe Rom-o-Choke can marry Me-Oh…as they both cry very well in Hi-Def!

Question is, did he drive his car into his own leg?

So, you want him fired partially? And what exactly do you mean by odd? Peculiar…..shady……hypocritical……conflict of interest….
Careful, Florio, that soapbox you’re on doesn’t look so stable. Sooner or later the cardboard will get wet and come crashing down.
Anyone else like it when they just report information and not get all “high and mighty” on judgement calls?!?
