Diggs out, Harris doubtful for Panthers

The Carolina Panthers will go for their first win of the season on Monday night by serving as the second groups of guests to the North Texas Football Cathedral.

The Panthers will have to pursue an upset under the biggest boob tube on the planet without two key players on defense, and without their starting fullback.

Linebacker Na’il Diggs is out with bruised ribs, safety Chris Harris is doubtful with a knee injury, and fullback Brad Hoover is doubtful due to a back problem.

Defensive end Everette Brown (ankle) also is doubtful.

The good news for the Panthers?  Defensive tackle Nick Hayden (toe) is probable for the game, after missing last week’s game against the Falcons.  The Panthers desperately need bodies at the defensive tackle position, given the season-ending injuries to Ma’ake Kemoeatu and his replacement, Louis Leonard.

The Panthers still have former Steelers draft pick RaShon “Sonny” Harris at DT. His nickname has an “O”, and not a “U”, as some folk believe. If you think his nickname is “Sunny” then fonk uff.

There is no good news of the Cats, they are going to get their a$$es handed to them.
