Colts-Cardinals one-liners

Colts QB Peyton Manning threw at least four touchdown passes for the 18th time in his career as part of the 31-10 pasting of the Cardinals.

Since 1999, the Colts are 28-7 in September, best in the league.

WR Reggie Wayne thought the schedule that sent them to Miami on a Monday night and then to Arizona the following Sunday was “unfair.”

After rushing for 132 yards in their first two games combined, the Colts generated 123 on the ground.

Manning passed Vinny Testaverde for sixth place on the all-time passing yardage list with 46,612 yards.

After going 14-4 at home in the past seasons, the Cardinals already are 0-2.

The man who presumably would still like to leave the Cardinals franchise is now fourth all-time on the team’s career receiving yardage list.

WR Anquan Boldin appeared to be held in the end zone during a second-quarter play, so QB Kurt Warner threw to Larry Fitzgerald — and the pass was picked off.  Said Boldin, “No comment; I want to keep my money.  No comment.”

Rookie RB Beanie Wells, a first-round draft pick, had two carries for negative-2 yards.
