Hey Mike,
You sound like a guy who is as unformed as Eric Gangreeni! The problems you are witnessing with the Browns are primarily the fault of the Mr. Gangreeni and Mr. Randy Unlearned. First of all, How many owners that you know who will hire a coach BEFORE GM? That’s what Randy Unlearned did. Second, Grangreeni screwed up the draft by passing on the best talent available including Mark ?Sanchez and Rey Malaleuga. Then he goes and brings in a bunch of bums from the Jets because players don’t like him. He screwed up the offense by waiting too late to name his starting QB. The rest of the offense never had a chance to gel around the qb before game one. Finally, his combination of ego and arrogance will be his undoing. Unless he starts winning –and right now—he will never coach in the NFL again.

This is not all Mangini fault, just like it was not all Crennels fault, but they got rid of him therefore Mangini should go. He has two backup quarterbacks trying to be starters, give Brett Ratliff a chance, bench Quinn and Anderson, what can you lose, another game?As a BRowns fan for many years this is the worst year i can remember. I am trying to keep the Browns habit and find another team but it is not that easy, this organization is the pits top to bottom.

good god man, mangini is amazing ….. remember the devastating coaching dilema he caused poor minnesota in week one by not revealing who his starting center was going to be ….. are you kidding me???? he is an abomination to the coaching position …. with his cockeyed hat he looks like a camp kid waiting at the bus stop for the little bus …. i turned the game on yesterday just for the chuckle factor ….. to all the browns fans …. you have my utmost sympathy

Before Favre f’d everything up? Um, MANGINI was fined by the NFL for lying about a shoulder injury that should have sidelined Favre.
A year later, the Jets and Favre are a combined 6-0. Meanwhile, Mangini: 0-3. Not a coincidence.

Mangini successfully turned the Browns into the laughing stock of the league! Most reporters outside of Cleveland already called us “The mistake by the lake”, but now we’re the Brown spot on Canada’s behind.

Hopefully Randy Lerner will start his “Who’s going to be the next head coach” guessing game. If there was ever an argument for firing a coach by the bye week of his 1st season, this is it. Mangini turned over the roster, picked his own talent and still looks like they couldn’t beat the practice squads of the other teams in this division. Absolutely pathetic.

3. The head coach is a joke. Look at the team he left! 3-0, Browns 0-3.
4. Bad Cornerbacks
5. Bad offensive line (right side.)
6. No good WR’s, that includes Braylon Edwards.
I’m tired of people thinking he is all that great.
7. No good TE’s.
8. No time for either QB to show what they can do because of their piss poor offense.
I love the Browns but we are officially the worst team in the NFL from the owner to the water boy. FIRE MANGINI!!!!! SELL THE TEAM BUT KEEP IT IN CLEVELAND!

3 games people….. 3 games removed from a 4 win season, and Mangini ruined this team??
I dont think Quinn should have been pulled, and I think Mangini should put him back in and stick with him for the year. However, the Browns offense has done nothing to this point, and if his intention was to try and create some sort of spark… create ANYTHING, then I’m OK with the move for this game (being down 20 at half). Not to mention Florio, as well as all the other national talking heads are focusing on the wrong thing- its not the QB’s its the Defense… or lack there of.

THIS IS THE WORST COACH IN FOOTBALL!! Lou Hotlz would be a better option at this point. Mangini is an arrogant fat clown. I think both of these quarterbacks could be successful or at least far more servicable under a different regime. The players in Clevland arent buying anything Man-Kok is selling, he isnt giving any of his players confidence especially his two Quarterbacks. We all suspected this was a horrible hire from`the start. Florio Im really interested to hear an unfiltered assessment of this guy from your opinion.

lets not condemn Mangini without first pointing out that the ignorant ownership in Cleveland hired him and another wanna e to run the show.
they are both losers which is what makes them a perfect match for the Lerner family in Cleveland.

It’s no secret, but you don’t remove a starting QB unless he is the one holding back an otherwise good team. After watching D.A. light it up (against much looser coverage), it’s clear that Quinn was the one holding the Browns back. What a joke. The Browns are an embarassment from their owner down to the talent on the field. They should all be ashamed.

Stupid Mangini. He should have learned from others’ mistakes and hired an OC he could trust. You don’t have a QB problem there, you have a coaching problem. That is obvious, and either Daboll sucks or Mangini calling the plays and he sucks. Either way, he can’t trust or isn’t trusting his OC. Look at what teams (the Ravens) are doing when they bring in a good OC. Mangini is an idiot. But what else would I expect from a guy who does nothing for any reason except to piss people off?

Haha, Mangini does make the Redskins and Zorn look good. But Florio didn’t pick the Browns to be in the Super Bowl, he picked the Redskins…
Maybe Florio should post a blog about his potential dismissal, instead of the Zorn and Mangini, since Florios track record has been just as bad recently…
