Haynesworth's soon-to-be-ex wants him to stay away

The gloves are coming off in the divorce case involving Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth.

And Mrs. Haynesworth apparently hopes to obtain judicial intervention before shoes start falling on foreheads, too.

She filed the action back in March 2008, and she recently has asked a Tennessee judge to force Haynesworth to pay bills dating back to April 2008.

Mrs. Haynesworth also wants a restraining order.

The motion, filed September 17 and due to be heard October 13, claims that Haynesworth threatened to stop making temporary support payments, that he has told their daughter’s preschool that he would not be paying the monthly tuition, and that he refused to pay a veterinarian’s bill of approximately $4,000 for the family dog.

Albert, live up to your commitments.  You’re making $40 million guaranteed.  We don’t think you’ll need to take a second job to pay for your kid’s tuition.  (But, if you do, maybe Robert Henson can hook you up at McDonald’s.)

Can’t wait to see Gurode take this deadbeat dad loser to the woodshed again. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Flo will trip him in the nuts. Assuming he has nuts.

this is typical…We have no idea whats going on in that house and a woman asks for a restraining order for someone threatning not to harm her, but not to pay her….Maybe you should wait till October before you take her side
(His wife charges Haynesworth recently threatened to stop paying temporary support that she received only during June, July, August and September of this year.)
Maybe she is already getting 20k a month and wants more, either way just cause he is crazy doesnt mean she isnt as well…

    1) Kids can go to public school
    2) 4K for a vet bill? I love my dogs dearly, but have never seen a 4K vet bill.

    What’s the deal Florio?
You give everyone the benefit of the doubt other than Haynesworth?
This is all ‘allegedly’, yet you’re already making accusations and telling him to shape up without knowing all the facts?
    Double standard.

“We have no idea whats going on in that house and a woman asks for a restraining order for someone threatning not to harm her, but not to pay her”
Uhh threatening to not pay what he is due to pay can be considered harassment. Actually not paying could and probably would be a violation of a court order, which is flirting with a contempt of court charge.

Please these actions by his wife are directly from the divorce handbook. I am sure she is looking for more then she deserves, and is trying to force a settlement by publicly embarassing Haynesworth. This country really needs to fix the divorce rules in this country. Reasonable child support is fine, but typically the one getting the support does not properly allocate it appropriately and ends up trying to live the highlife on their child(rens) money.

i don’t blame albert, why waste tuition money on a kindergartern kid, they learn more sitting at home watching sesame street, tuition is only for college, plus 4 Gs for a vet bill is too much, with that money you could get a few puppies and use the rest of the money on new toys for your kids.

What does this have to do with football?
In addition, I believe no one at pro football weekly has ever been in a relationship with a woman or chased a woman or even had a friend who was in either of those circumstances. Otherwise I believe the view of such topics would be much more well rounded. Nobody is the enemy. You guys are a football site, just in case you forgot. Maybe you should be talking about coordinators, player performance, defensive and offensive schemes…you know, football stuff.

I would hate to think that HAynesworth, who obviously HAS the money to take care of his family, would deal with problems with his ex by not taking care of HIS child. If this is true, it gives a whole new meaning to deadbeat dad. It is one thing when a guy doesn’t pay because he can barely scrape together the money to live himself. That is still bad but at least there is a legitimate reason. When you have the money and STILL fail to take care of your kid then you have real problems as a human being.
The worst part is, of the two, the guy with no money is FAR more likely to have the legal system come down on him like a ton of bricks.

  23. Packers29 says: Sep 29, 2009 10:13 PM

Divorce laws need some major changes. Why is she entitled to more than what she needs to get a job and live on her own?
Since she filed in early 2008, she better not get to touch that new contract money from the skins.
NFL players have too much to lose by marrying without a prenuptial agreement. I hope many players learn their lesson from this.

  24. CH³NO² says: Sep 29, 2009 10:20 PM

Poor Fat Albert has a hurt ass now. Granted, that’s a whole lot of territory to be hurting but I predict this is the beginning of the end of another free agent who comes to DC to get rich and die!

  25. KC Hymen Bruiser says: Sep 29, 2009 10:21 PM

DAMN!!! $4 Gs at the Vet??? I didn’t know you could do boob jobs on dogs. I don’t blame him for not paying a dime to that Biotch. Anyone that spends 4 large on a dog and doesn’t just buy another one shouldn’t be in charge of any finances. gotta pay for kids tuition though. Your rich and you want good for your kids.

Little presumptuous, Florio, to tell Albert what his “commitments” are. He could already be paying his wife for the tuition and she spent it on something else.

  27. hrmlss says: Sep 29, 2009 10:31 PM

let it all settle out in court. Some things do not jive here. My dog’s most expensive bill during his death, was the final one that included his creamation, and that was $800. But “Hey, Hey Hey Fat Albert” notifying his daughters school that he is not going to pay her tuition is a fine example of a dead beat dad, who is using here as a weapon in the war against his wife. On the other side his “wife” no being able to survive on only $20,000 a month is really sad. Maybe he stomped on her face.

I am sure his exwife is a bitch that title comes with the papers but hell 40 mil cut down on the twinkees and pay the bills
This guy is a total tool I would have had a settlement in place long before the DC deal

    child support laws are satanic.
it is evil and satanic to force men to pay these satanic child support laws
child support laws actually kill children
Paying child support kills children by Funding/Subsidizing the #1 KILLER of children: single-mother-households:
Children from single-mother households, compared to children of two-parent families where the biological father is present, are more likely to go to prison by 20 times, to commit suicide by 5 times, to have behavioral problems by 20 times, to become rapists by 14 times, to run away by 32 times, to abuse chemical substances by 10 times, to drop out of high school by 9 times, to be seriously abused by 33 times, to be fatally abused by 73 times, to be one tenth as likely to get A’s in school, and to [per Lenore Weitzman] have a 72% lower standard of living.
feminism is 100% evil and satanic

The average American does not make the money that Albert Haynesworth makes.
With the economy doing bad and many getting laid off, where is the Child Support Bailout?
How are all these men that have been laid off from work expected to pay child support?
They are all being turned into criminals and can be arrested and be sent to jail, surrounded by murderers and rapists.
Homosexual men have more rights in America than heterosexual fathers.
Child support laws were actually invented in the former Soviet Union. It is communist infiltration into America, the distribution of wealth.
Feminism is a military psychological weapon that is being used to control society by weakening the male population.
U.S. child support reforms are based on the Soviet model, Article 81 of the The Russian Family Code, adopted in 1995. Its use was and is promoted in the United States by Irwin Garfinkel as part of a suite of Communist policy which became known to us as “The Wisconsin Model” because it involves the income shares approach–how much each parent makes determines how much child support is paid; rather than the true cost of raising children. As the Communist Manifesto says: “Each according to ability; each according to his needs”. Our child support system was conceived and implemented as part of the former Communist way of doing things.

“Child support laws were actually invented in the former Soviet Union. It is communist infiltration into America, the distribution of wealth.”
The USSR was socialist. You know, the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics”. Child support law in the US predates the 1922 creation of the USSR by more than 100 years and were originally intended to keep single mothers and their children from becoming a burden on society. Derived at least in part from the old English “poor laws”.
Somebody’s gotta feed your kids. If it’s not you it’s gotta be me. If it’s gotta be me then who gives a damn if you go to jail? Might as well pay your irresponsible broke-ass way through life, too. Don’t drop the soap.

She is asking for $6,000 a month. Come on people, the mortgage alone is almost $4,000….she’s not trying to get rich off of him, do the math. Daycare for 2 kids is about $1,200 a month. He is a millionaire and she’s trying to provide a life for the children that they are accustomed to and re-establish her work skills.
He treated her like a PRISONER in her own home and CHEATED on her, so she filed for divorce, just like any other self-respecting woman would do.
