I’m pretty certain that the Pats require all players to stay at a team hotel even for home games. So if he was required to be at the team hotel prior to the game, what reason would he have for going back to his complex – especially if that’s not allowed by the team? Should be an interesting story when it breaks.

Tom, your hatred of the Bills is showing, try being a little less biased. Wilhite would not even think about NFL players like Sean Taylor and Darrent Williams being killed, but he would be running due to his fear of a couple of kids spray painting his lawn or someone stealing jewelry.
Couldn’t you have worked in something about T.O., like “Wilhite feared for his life due to the recent vicious attacks by rabid Bills fans who T.O. has turned into blood-thirsty serial killers.”

this is a prime example of a non-story getting blown out of proportion by media-guessing. they weren’t trying to be dis-informative. it really was a non-story from the get-go.
sucks to hear about wilhite’s groin, but i’d have to say, at least he took the smart way out instead of brandishing a gun, getting into a fight, or worse.
