L.T. returns to practice

Though the Chargers’ practice wasn’t completed when the league issued the Wednesday injury report, the team has since distributed its info.

And running back LaDainian Tomlinson participated fully in practice, more than two weeks removed from a suffering a sprained ankle.

Guard Louis Vasquez (knee) also was a full participant.

Linebacker Shawne Merriman (groin), defensive lineman Travis Johnson (groin), and linebacker Antwan Applewhite (hamstring) did not practice.  Punter Mike Scifres (groin) was a limited participant, and center Nick Hardwick (ankle) is out.

The Steelers face the Chargers on Sunday night.  (On NBC.)

Merriman out with a groin injury… nice going Tequilla.

Ohhh!!! Joy!!! Joy!!!….we can all go rushing over now and throw ourselves at his feet.
This guy has an ego bigger that the entire galaxy and he “pouts” or takes a hissy fit when things don’t go his way…boo hoo hoo hoo. He’s proclaims himself the best running back in existence and gets all snippy when anybody suggests another such as Adrian Peterson. This guy is a huge self centered jerk.
Also, he’s seems to get hurt more often than not. Right now he’s not even the best running back on his team. Sproles is better.

Hey LaDainian….Lets get one thing straight before you hit the field. YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ADRIAN PETERSON!

Wow Backinthesaddle, you sure know your football. L.T. didn’t miss one game for 8 straight years. After 10 years in the NFL a player might get injured and miss a game. Shocking! And what about Sproles makes him better? His 2.8 yards per carry or his 1 rushing TD? Do some homework.

Wow, backinthesaddle. You’re a little bitter. I’ve never seen LT pout. But maybe you guys are friends and you spend a lot of time with him. Did you even read that article? Nowhere did LT ever say he was the best, now or ever. He said the best backs are complete backs, which means on 3rd and 10 they don’t get taken out because they don’t pose a credible receiving threat, and sorry to say, AP isn’t a great receiver out of the backfield. But ya know what? 142 touchdowns in 8 years and 1 game MAKES YOU GREAT, not to mention passing for 7 more. And, getting 300 pounds of angry meat dropped on your body 3,181 times in the same 8 years with ZERO missed games until 2 weeks ago also MAKES YOU GREAT. But, again, HE never said it. Time and consistency make NFL Players great, and I’m sure AP will get there, but he’s got some dues to pay first. So hate the game, dude…not the play-ah!

    I’ve never seen LT pout
The game he came out after two plays, sat on the bench alone, immobile, with his tinted visor on the whole time?
    You missed that game?

Someone let Tila run around the locker room. Look for groin injuries to be a reoccurring thing until she is banned.

Go out and prove them WRONG L.T. If you have ANYTHING left…… Just do it!

Pouting ALMOST as bad as the day that Tom Brady got SMACKED DOWN all day long by the Giants in the Super Bowl two years ago. LMFAO!!!!!
    GFY, WizzTurd.

At least try to be coherent.
(that means, your words should make sense when added together)

    @b_sketchy
Ok dumbazz, I did some homework…….
LT had 292 attempts for 1110 yards, 11TD’s and 3.8 yards per carry
Sproles had 61 attempts for 330 yards, 1TD and 5.4 yards per carry
That pretty much says who is the better running back. LT’s time is over, Sproles is the better running back on the team, and time will prove that Peterson is a far better back than LT could have ever hoped to have been!

LT is a bust. Chargers can’t run the ball, only can pass, they are not getting far this year.

  13. MasterShake says: Oct 1, 2009 12:18 AM

Are you LaD fans sure that the Vikings take AP out of the game during SOME 3rd downs is because of his supposed shortcomings or is it because of the gameplan they have? Could it be that they have a very good backup in Chester Taylor and there is no good reason to put AP out in those situations?
Just take a second to watch what that young man (AP) does when he’s out there and you may want to change your oppionion. Maybe not.

Anyone who badmouths LT — easily one of the five greatest “complete” RB’s of all-time — is just showing his football ignorance.
And to take one year’s stats (a year that LT played on turf toe, mind you) while carrying a factor of 5 times more than Sproles and somehow making that the be-all-and-end-all proof that Sproles is “better”, well, you’re an idiot.
(Meanwhile, let’s ignore that 2.6 yards per carry this year for Sproles now that teams know what his game is about).
Go back to football school, you rotting, suckling pig.

You mean the game that was below freezing? The game where players that weren’t playing were ALL wearing their helmets on the sidelines, including Patriot players. You mean the pictures where LT was sitting on the bench NEXT TO THE REST OF THE OFFENSE while the defense was on the field. You mean the game where when LT was on the bench he was always in the ear of Lo Neal and Turner?
You need to quite being a sheep and realize that LT called out Belicheat and the Boston media had a unrelenting target on his head for that. They’re almost as bad as the NY media.
