Raiders bring back Justin Miller

The Titans aren't the only team that has implicitly conceded a special-teams roster-cuts screw-up.

The same day that Tennessee brought back Mark Jones (thanks to Ryan Mouton's fumbles against the Jets), the Raiders have given Justin Miller another chance.

Miller was cut prior to the season, with the kick-return duties going to Nick Miller.  But Nick Miller has been sidelined with a broken bone about his shin.

Since then, Jonathan Holland and Louis Rankin had the duties.

The news of Justin Miller's return came not from the team, but from the Twitter page of Raiders linebacker Thomas Howard.  The Raiders rarely publicize player comings and goings; typically, they simply mention the move on the "transactions" page of the franchise's official web site.  Sometimes, they don't even do that.

YES! Now the Raiders will finally win the big game...er...wait, which Raiders team is this, TX or Oakland. Shoot - it doesn't really matter now does it?

He scored twice, but was burned everytime he was in. He's just as bad as Stanford Routt. I was happy when he was cut. Anytime Nnamdi or Chris Johnson are out, it's a certainty that Routt or Miller were going to get burned for a TD. ALWAYS!

While he was missed on the KR returns, he hurts the team more than he helps. I would gladly give up the extra 10+ yards a return to not have him on the team. Does more damage than help. Hopefully Nick Miller comes back soon and contributes at KR and WR so he can kick this bum out again.

Maybe he will take JaMarcus Leaf with him.

Yeah, a kick returner will right the ship.

    The QB is horrible
The running back is ranked 37th in yds per attempt & leads the league in fumbles
The rookie wide receiver has only one more catch than Crabtree.

But with this signing, everything looks roses from here on out.

    Is Garcia next?

Whatever happened to Cris McAlister? We still need someone to bump Stanford Routt(ed).

Too bad the Raiders (i.e. Al Davis) are too hard-headed to bring Jeff Garcia back. And since he asked for his own release, it would be like coming back with his head between his tail.

Have you seen Mrs. Garcia? Holy crap, how does he even make it out of the house?!

Unless Clark Kent is coming with him, I don't think it will make much difference.

What a great move! The season has been saved. Al is really on top of his game now.

I assume bringing back Miller will help our Kick Off return yards...Why doesnt Higgins return punts and kick offs?
Also bringing back miller will help get Routt off the field in the Nickel packages...
