Chris Ellis, a reserve defensive end for the Bills, will miss Sunday’s game at Miami because of a family emergency the team announced Saturday.
Buffalo provided no further details on Ellis’ situation.
He is now the seventh Buffalo player ruled out of this week’s game joining tackle Demetrius Bell, DT John McCargo, corner Leodis McKelvin (who was placed on IR this week), LB Paul Posluszny and safeties Bryan Scott and Donte Whitner. Tight end Shawn Nelson and DT Kyle Williams are probable.
So a tough season for the 0-3 1-2 (oops, it just feels like 0-3) Bills just keeps getting tougher.

It will get even tougher if you don’t know their record.
nope thats just the titans
Good thing they have a few days of vacation in Miami to get healthy.
How does it feel like 0-3 when we should have beat the patriots the first week and our offense just sucked last week. Just because the Bills lost last week it doesn’t mean they suck.
Actually, he is the tenth Buffalo player who will be out of this week’s game, because starting RT Brad Butler, starting TE Derek Schouman and backup MLB John DiGiorgio have also been lost for the year to IR.
good point geesgums! This writer might be finding a new job soon. Doesn’t know how to get the facts straight and obviously does not watch football.
Feels like 0-3…I guess that’s why they should’ve beat the Pats and should be 2-1? Cause it sure feels like 2-1 to me, and I’m not a Bills fan whatsoever. Good job, Tom.
