Injured Bucs make trip to Washington

Maybe it’s just a fascination with teams on the brink of chaos, but we’re very intrigued to see what happens in the Buccaneers-Redskins game on Sunday afternoon.

Bucs starting quarterback Josh Johnson is among the biggest mysteries to start an NFL game in the last few years, and a road victory for him would be a great story.  (As would the aftermath in Washington.)

On Saturday, Johnson got some encouraging news about his teammates. According to Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times wide receiver Antonio Bryant, running back Derrick Ward, and defensive end Gaines Adams all made the trip to Washington.

All three players are listed as questionable on the injury report, but the fact that they traveled is a good sign for their status on Sunday.

Ward is the most uncertain after failing to practice all week because of a knee injury. Carnell Williams is expected to start at running back.

This is going to be very interesting. I will be at that game and if the skins loose, it will be mayhem and rioting and burning cars in the parking lot at FedEx Field.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to watch this ballgame, it’s gonna be ugly and if the Bucs pull it out, heads will roll in Washington. Zorn better go to Todd Collins quick or his coaching career in Washington might be over quick.

I think a scoreless tie would be very fitting for this game.
    Redskins – 0
    Tampa Bay- 0

Wow. Normal FedEx Field game day gridlock + rioting = Better make sure car and health insurance are all paid up.
It’s already a real-life game of Frogger just trying to get back to your car in the parking lots after the game. Add to that agitated fans on the warpath? Another reason I’m glad I won’t be at FedEx.

I agree, PG co is mad Nubbs.
Furthermore, as much as i love my skins, Zorn is a freakin pansy and snyder made a huge mistake by hiring him. “Acting medium” only gets you to medium, .500. He’s retarted and he doesn’t know how to call a game. I think he’d be great as the skins QB coach with someone who is a lot more awesome at the helm, e.g. shannahan or cowher, or john harbaugh….. is there any way we can buy him from the ravens. please. i’m asking nicely, it’s the least you could do danny. oh, and how about not weirding out all of the potential coaches by making them stay at your house for 3 days, you fn weirdo.
