Johnny Knox fills in nicely for Devin Hester

A week after Vikings rookie receiver Percy Harvin took a second-half kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown, another NFC North first-year player saw Harvin, and raised him.

To start the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Lions at Soldier Field, Johnny Knox went 102 yards to pay dirt.

Hester injured a shoulder in the first half.  Per Chris Myers of FOX, Hester won’t return.

The Bears lead what is shaping up to be a shootout, 28-21.

Knox technically DeSean Jackson’d his celebration and fumbled at the half yard line.

It looked as if Knox might have dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line. I wish the Faux commentators would have noticed that and taken a closer look.

rh and Techno…..I thought I was seeing things. As a Bear fan, I was scared shitless they were going to be flags everywhere. Looked like he dropped it in the 1/2 yard line. I can’t believe Billick and the other clown didn’t even mention it !

I can only think another Bear must have picked it up meaning the Lions wouldn’t have benefited from a challenge.

Bennett didn’t look to shabby on punt returns either. Hard to lose a game when you consistently start at the 50 yd line.
