Mason manhandles the Pats early

The Ravens probably are very happy that receiver Derrick Mason decided not to retire.

Mason caught six passes for 77 yards -- in one drive -- to help the Ravens take an early 7-3 lead at Foxborough.

The drive ended with a 20-yard touchdown catch by Mason.  As the video of the play demonstrates, he was hit low and landed hard on the ground.

Mason has since returned to the game.

The Pats lead, 10-7.

Look who has zero receptions. Randy Moss. Big shocker - dogging it again.

    He wasn't "hit low".

He was in the air when he got hit in the lower body. You made it sound dirty.

Mason is the man!! BTW, take that Keyshawn & Carter!!! BTW, Moss doesn't have a catch but does have a PI call against him. Can't believe the refs actually called it against him.

IAG, clearly you are the most knowledgeable football fan. Who would have thought that 12 minutes of possession = an entire football game. Please share more of your football wisdom!

That attempt at Brady's knee right now was a bit dirty.

And lazy Randy Moss just threw a nice block there on Welker's reception, IAG. Watching the game?

Ravens are killing themselves with the "roughing the pussy" calls.

It looks like B'more has forgotten that, regardless of Flacco's success, they aren't a pass-first offense.

Ugh. Ravens "D" is awful today. Suggs ought to be ashamed of himself. That's embarrassing.

Why did the Ravens stop running????? They were bringing it.

If the Pats score on their 1st possession of the 2nd half - ballgame.

Gotta love the garbage PI call on Carr and then the "gee, I've never seen this before" (say the announcers) 15 yard call against Harbaugh for finally getting fed up with the garbage officiating that we've all come to know and loathe whenever the Pats* play. Someone really needs to say something about that--someone official, fines (remember Bart Scott two years ago?) be darned. It's just getting so obvious.....

    Cheatin' Ref's!

A call just went against the Ravens!

    Again!

    It's a conspiracy!

That dive at Brady's knees was as blatant as I've ever seen since Martin dumped McMahon.

    Guy should've been tossed.

Good win. The lead was never safe, but the Pats D hung in.
