Listed as questionable with a groin injury, Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman tells FOX’s Jay Glazer that Merriman will play tonight at Pittsburgh (NBC, 8:15 p.m. ET).
Merriman told Glazer that he’ll start. “I don’t know how long I can go but I’ll give it a shot,” Merriman told Glazer.
We’re not sure how much it matters, since Merriman pretty much has been a non-factor this year.
And, yeah, he has enough time to drive down here from Pittsburgh, kick my ass for stating the obvious, and then drive back to Heinz Field in time for the game.
