Report: Seau has physical with Patriots

Free-agent linebacker Junior Seau recently made it known that he’s ready and willing to return to the NFL, specifically for the Patriots.

Tell Belichick to call me,” Seau said.

Belichick apparently has complied.

According to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, Seau recently underwent a physical with the Patriots.

Seau has said that he’d be willing to return to the team as early as November.  Last year, he signed with the Patriots in December.

If he plays, it would be Seau’s 20th year in pro football.

And it would be a lot safer than running away from bulls.

What’s wrong Junior…the MMA or WWE didn’t come calling after the bull incident.

You know…on the surface it sounds like the Pats are digging up yet another aging player, but I have been pleasantly surprised to see Seau do as well as he has, and be as effective as he has in the Pats system the last couple of years.
Yes, he’s not the same guy he was in SD, but I tell you what…he can still bring some energy to the team.

Bellichick reads PFT.com. Someone at the league office should investigate PFT.com’s role in SpyGate.

I agree. Although I expect this is just Belichick doing his homework and checking to see if Seau is healthy enough to give it another go if Belichick chooses to call on him in November.

Bellicheat is a one-trick pony. By week 8, when the Patties are 2-6, he will be bringing back Bruschi and Harrison, and re-hiring Matt Walsh to run the sideline camera.

    It’s amazing!!!!
Everybody gives Favre crap for waffeling, skipping training, and putting himself above the team. Seau even worse, he comes in during the middle of the season with no OTA’s, training camp, preseason, regular season or practice.
It just shows that nobody really cares, they just like to talk crap about Favre.

Oh the wit! Enough with the sharp wit!
And I just have to read your posts, I can’t imagine what your boyfriend has to listen to…

I would be very afraid. The patriots defense in yesterdays game should have all other teams worried… A young defensive team without their veterans beating two undefeated teams back to back… scary good.
