Legendary Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas, cut by the Chiefs at the end of training camp without having played in a preseason game, has filed an injury grievance against Kansas City.
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Thomas was released without an injury settlement even though he suffered a concussion during training camp. He's filed a grievance to try and recoup his $1 million salary.
Mortensen said that Thomas is still interested in playing but his prospects of doing that are "almost nil."
