When Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter crumpled to the ground in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, we couldn't help but think back to his two previous devastating knee injuries.
Buckhalter didn't return to the game and left the locker room Sunday on crutches, but his knees are thankfully fine. Denver's starter against Dallas, Buckhalter suffered a sprained ankle in the game and will undergo further tests on the injury Monday.
Denver's running game averaged 4.6 yards per play against Dallas Sunday, and has been very consistent this year whether Buckhalter or Knowshon Moreno is carrying the ball.
If Buckhalter can't play against New England next week, LaMont Jordan and Peyton Hillis should see more work.

where's Knowshon? Isn't he the starter? :S
Hopefully not serious...this guy has had bad luck for years.
Glad he's OK. Good to see the former Eagles helping the old team out.
Hope he is OK. Good player who could never get it together...
Felix Jones, this is your future.
Moreno should be the starter anyway.
