God I’m a Raiders fan but it almost seems like they are “throwing” games and trying to lose them all. Gotta yank “Ryan Leaf 2″ if we want any hope of winning. If not we will go 1-15 and be looking for another sprinter/track star in the draft and not an actual football player. Al Davis “Cryptkeeper” you have made this franchise a bust. We need a leader without a retarded looking mohawk to lead us. Need a QB with some desire and heart. All our problems go back to QB position and possibly Cornell Green.

It’s simply a combination of a weak O-line, which is missing it’s best player, Gallery, and opposing teams not respecting the pass at all.
It’s not often you see 9 guys in the box but that’s what’s been happening lately.

The Raiders didn’t take their running game for granted, they took their offensive line for granted.
That was evident when Al Davis allowed Jake Grove to sign away with the Fins, where he is promptly opening up holes up the middle, like he was doing last season. Neither Chris Morris nor Samson Satele represent upgrades at the position. Grove was the team’s best center since Barrett Robbins suffered his Super Bowl meltdown. They now have to look at drafting another center in the draft.
The right side of the line is a joke. How can Cornell Green be the team’s best option at RT? It’s Rory Graves, part 2! Khalif Barnes can’t possibly be a worse option here.
Games are won in the trenches. You can have all the zone blocking you want, but without talent the scheme only goes so far. The Raiders only talent on the O-line is currently injured. The team needs to find a starting spot for Barnes ASAP and try harder to bring in Jon Runyan to revamp the right side.
They have nothing to lose; season’s already over.
