Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that starting weak side linebacker Michael Boley will miss “a few weeks” with an undisclosed injury.
The free agent acquisition is still waiting to hear an official diagnosis, but was told to expect to miss a few games.
Despite a number of injuries, the Giants defense is third in the league in yards per game allowed, sixth in points allowed, and tied for fifth in turnovers. Those numbers should improve this week, even with Boley.
The Giants return home from their three-game road trip to face the Raiders.
