Since we’ve begun doing the Sunday Night Football Extra Live Chat for NBC, some of you have expressed a genuine longing for the old-school Cover It Live experience. (Others have indicated a preference for SNF Extra.)
Well, it’s not Sunday night. So we’re bringing it back.
So here’s a Live Blog for one of the biggest Monday night games of all time. We’ll start rolling at 8:00 p.m. ET, and we’ll go for the full duration, and possibly beyond.
So break out the fake names and the made up quotes, and get ready for the random insertion of YouTube videos. Because we’re back, baby.
As of 8:00 p.m. ET.

I think whenever they say Favres first name combined with his last name its a drink. We will all be drunk in the first 10 min.
Go Raiders!
Nice pass by Rogers on 3rd down.

Looks like it could be a shootout. Vikes need to get AP out in the open.
Glad to see AP’s skin cleared up since he did the Nike ad.
Put er’ in the ol’ vise.
This is garbage…..Lord Florio gets to pick and choose which comments he broadcasts for all to see…….
Nice pass from the 40 year old cannon.
A. Rogers need to find Donald Driver, Jennings seems to be covered reall well.
Rumor has it Crabtree is back in San Fran?
Terrible! Florio picks and chooses the lamest and most unfunny comments. I gave it 15 minutes and that was more than enough time to waste here.
Will we next see Ryan Grant on a milk carton?
nice thing about espn half compared to NBC is you don’t have political hacks talking sports
Am I the only one out there that’s seeing repeated holding by the Vikes and no flags…
Surprised there wasn’t a mystery whistle to call back the AP fumble return for a TD…
Go Greenbay! I’m more than sick of Brett Favre.
And the packers hang in even when the refs are blind……
Why is Farve’s shirt hanging out
They should be playing Finley full time at TE. I Can’t believe Lee dropped that pass?
TJ Lang or KD Lang at tackle for the Packers?
Jared Allen is killing the Pack along with Winfield
farve should retire already
Mike,
I was wondering what the league’s policy was on wedge blocking on onside kicks. I understand that they have banned the classic wedge blocking scheme on regular kick-offs, but does the new rule also include onside kicks. I ask because on the onside kick that occurred earlier in tonight’s game, the Vikings ran a clear classic five man wedge to blow up the Packer’s hands team, giving Sidney Rice loads of space to make the game-saving catch. Jaws even called it a “wedge” on the replay. I trust that you’ll get to the bottom of this. Love the site. Thanks.

Another Favre Triumph
