Former Titans running back Chris Henry, a second-round pick in 2007, may not be unemployed for long after getting dumped last week.
The Nashville Tennessean reports that Henry will visit with the Redskins Monday night and Tuesday. If he doesn’t sign there, he’s headed to Houston to get a look see by the Texans.
Henry’s old position coach Sherman Smith is the offensive coordinator in Washington. Both the Redskins and Texans lack quality depth at running back, but Henry hasn’t shown much in his NFL career to indicate he’d be of much help.

Once again my hat goes off to the Redskins for picking up the top free agent on defense when your offense averaged 12 points a game last year.
Depth at running back surfaced last year at the end of the year. Campbell is showing he can air it out and Portis is showing he is, well Portis.
This guy is the definition of an NFL combine hero that can’t do jack on the field.

Henry will impress the hell outta those teams during workouts. But when he shows them he has poor game time “vision”, they will fall outta love with him sooner or later.
