In 2006, the Vikings made the first dramatic overhaul to their uniforms in franchise history.
Many (yours truly included) don’t like the new duds.
But that makes it even more memorable when they break out the throwbacks, a combination that the Vikings actually never wore as their full-time uniforms.
And, per Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, they’ll be wearing the throwbacks tonight.
It makes sense. The Vikings were wearing those same throwback uniforms when Favre broke Dan Marino’s all-time passing touchdown record, at the Metrodome on September 30, 2007.

You know what I love about this blog? No photos. Every other blog in the world uses them… but somehow this one has been left behind, much like its Bevel/Emboss style logo.
I am glad they don’t have those stupid SIGs, and the little pictures that everyone can use. That stuff is only used by the people who want to be the cool guy at the Special Olympics.
