In 2006, the Vikings made the first dramatic overhaul to their uniforms in franchise history.
Many (yours truly included) don’t like the new duds.
But that makes it even more memorable when they break out the throwbacks, a combination that the Vikings actually never wore as their full-time uniforms.
And, per Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, they’ll be wearing the throwbacks tonight.
It makes sense. The Vikings were wearing those same throwback uniforms when Favre broke Dan Marino’s all-time passing touchdown record, at the Metrodome on September 30, 2007.
