Dolphins player faces domestic violence charges

After a late-summer flurry of off-field incidents, nearly a full month has passed without any NFL player (or Raiders head coach) being cuffed, printed, and photographed.

That streak has ended.

Dolphins cornerback Will Billingsley, a practice-squad player, was arrested Monday and charged with battery and resisting arrest.

Billingsley’s girlfriend, whom he allegedly assaulted, also was taken into custody for trying to stop the arrest.

He spent all of 2008 on the practice squad, and he was signed to the practice squad again in 2009 after not making the final 53-man roster.

I guess he can run over some teenagersin his car in 8 years in a pickup football game ’cause he didn’t make it in the pros.

So his girlfriend I imagine called the police when he hit her and then raised a ruckus when they arrested him and got arrested herself.
Would have been a good “cops” segment.
