Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett’s nickname is “Fart Box.”

“I’m trying to do whatever I can to help my team win, but I’m not doing it for the organization,” Dockett said Thursday, according to the Arizona Republic. “I’m doing it for
my coach, my teammates, all the veteran guys in here. That’s it.”
Dockett remains unhappy with his contract, especially since others are noticing how good of a player he is.
“It’d be nice if I got paid like it,” Dockett said. “But hey,

Nothing warms the heart like a public display of humility.
Meanwhile, one of Dockett’s teammates who wants more money seems to be resigned to the fact that the Cardinals won’t be taking a crowbar to Bidwill family vault.
“I let the whole contract talk, you know, to the side,” Boldin said on Sirius Hardcore Radio (via SportsRadioInterviews.com). “If they get me done, fine. If not, I guess I have to find a home somewhere else. But as long as I’m playing football, I’m doing good.”
Boldin is signed through 2010, and Dockett is under contract through 2011. Both players signed second contracts after getting their careers off to good starts.
