PFTV looks at the first coach to go

So we did the PFTV segments early this week in order to get them all out of the tank before Saturday.

And then here comes Saturday, and we realized we’ve forgotten to get them all out of the tank.

Here’s the last one, with Joe Brocato and yours truly pondering the coach most likely to get fired first.

Jerry Jones has actually never fired a coach during the season. Phillips might be safe to end the season after all. The entire off season he talk about bringing in a new tough guy act as coach, but players can see right through that if they played with him before.
Bringing Sherm Lewis in with 3 weeks to go before their bye week makes me think Snyder might not want to wait until the bye week for Zorn.
With what Singletary did last year as interim of the 49ers shows what is possible. Get a big name guy who can light a fire under the players and things can turn around quickly.
It can also go horribly wrong, but when things can’t get much worse it doesn’t really matter.

WOW! That is the first time I’ve looked at PFTV. Florio looks like that high-school kid who had a complex face (euphamism warning) with hair coming out of his ears. Shave the hairline back, old man, so you don’t look Neanderthal.
And i love that he has Ed McMahon feeding him questions. So clever. Ed gets big eyes when the topic gets big. Cool.
And as for the content. Huh? What? Who is getting fired and why? I suggest a PFTV segment that addresses which coaches might be fired and why.

Rumor has it that Mike Holmgren is looking to coach an East Coast team in 2010. Bills and “The Big Show” would be a GOOD fit.

I agree that Jauron is on the hottest hot seat. If the Bills lose at home to the 0-4 Browns this sunday, Jauron might not make it to week 6.

    Jauron the moron
    Cable if he is indicted.

sadly, norv if he loses to denver on MNF in week 6
but i don’t think that’s going to happen , being a home game
    so i’ll say dick jauron

@ dave – Norv is a terrible coach, Chargers fans should be rooting for his firing. Lot of big name coaches available. They should hire Shanahan just so he can keep his streak of coaching in the AFC west alive.

Florio, did you get a wardrobe deal or allowance from NBC? You and Joe are certainly dressing better these days. Your clothes even fit properly.
I sure miss that old gold/tan jacket that was three sizes too big for you and Joe’s blinding red tie.
Progress occurs in small increments, now if you could just get the log in problem fixed……oh never mind it’s fun logging in every time.

    @ daffy87
Shanahan would never work out in SD… AJ would never give up control!

Eric Mangini. I don’t know how Cleveland will bring that guy back. He is a horrible coach.
