With little doubt on their respective injuries reports, there are no major surprises in the list of inactive players for the game to be played in San Fran against the Falcons at the 49ers.
For the Falcons, cornerback Tye Hill, running back Verron Haynes, cornerback Antoine Harris, linebacker Spencer Adkins, tackle Garrett Reynolds, tackle Quinn Ojinnaka, and defensive tackle Vance Walker are inactive. John Parker Wilson is the emergency quarterback.
For the 49ers, cornerback Allen Rossum, running back Frank Gore, defensive back Reggie Smith, linebacker Jeff Ulbrich, linebacker Marques Harris, center Cody Wallace, and defensive end Ricky-Jean Francois are inactive. Nate Davis is the third quarterback.
These two “tings” I wanna see happen today:
1) Falcons RB Michael Turner rush for over 100 yards, easier said than done regarding his production so far this season and the 49ers have a rushing defense near tops in the league.
2) The Falcons pressure QB Shaun Hill. The defensive line hasn’t sacked a QB since Chad Pennington 4 times in week 1, only LB Stephen Nicholas has a sack against Jake DelTaco of Carolina in week 2.
