Gaither not playing for Ravens

Ravens left tackle Jared Gaither, who suffered a neck injury last week against New England, will not play today against Cincinnati. Gaither was listed as “questionable” when the status reports came out Friday.

That means that rookie Michael Oher, who normally plays right tackle for the Ravens, flips to the left side. He’ll be seeing some of Cincinnati defensive end Antwan Odom, the AFC Defensive Player of the Month in September.

With the 3-1 Bengals coming off a narrow win last week over the Browns and the 3-1 Ravens coming back from a narrow loss in New England, this matchup at the top of the AFC North is going to be the most fascinating of a weak crop of 1 o’clock games.

This is a loss…. too bad he got hurt on a play where Flacco was hit late and no flag was thrown,

Refs didn’t see the late hit on Flacco and therefore could not call the penalty. They were busy supervising the work of Brady’s hair-stylists and dress-fitters.
