Eagles-Bucs one-liners

Donovan McNabb didn’t need to throw the ball much to rack up big plays in a walkover 33-14 win over the Bucs.

Andy Reid on the Wildcat offense, which only generated seven yards on six plays: “It wasn’t blowing my blouse up.”  (That image will keep me up at nights.)

LB Jeremiah Trotter recorded one tackle in 19 snaps in his return to the NFL, and felt the love from the Eagles crowd.

RB Brian Westbrook played a secondary role in his return to the lineup, with 35 yards on eight touches.

With Kevin Curtis out, WR Jeremy Maclin took advantage of the opportunity, catching six receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns.

A five-game losing streak has left Bucs defensive leader LB Barrett Ruud miserable.

Tampa’s struggling offensive line will get a boost with the return of C Jeff Faine next week.

The Bucs defense has fallen apart without Monte Kiffin, but DE Jimmy Wilkerson was a bright spot with three sacks.

A number of drops by WR Michael Clayton could cost the veteran his job.

Raheem Morris says the Bucs are a “really well-coached football.”

Good thing, because if it did it would be raining drugs all over Philly.

Wildcat is nothing more than a gimmick.
Ravens showed that when they shut down the Fins in the playoffs last year. Look for the Jets to do the same to the Fins tonight.

Eagles also announced an addition to their original blitz package today.
    Today’s announcement.
    Previous announcement.

Still short of matching Vick’s salary – can sign a petition here for that.
Someone was whining about this site never detailing his good deeds, just throwing it out. He doesn’t actually do anything good that is not mandatory, but the Eagles are stepping up.

Yeah the Jets are already doing a great job of shutting it down…wait, what?

VOX -I was told in another thread to google your sn, the first segment up is a myspace link with a user name like yours…if that is really you I now laugh at the simple view of your name, let alone your dumb a$$ posts. Do you really play magic the gathering?

Look, I hate the Cowboys(and most of Vox’s posts) just like the next guy but don’t be ripping on Magic the Gathering.

Guess you were wrong about the Jets ripping up the wildcat, huh.
Kudos for saying the Eagles have stepped up. Vick is doing everything the Eagles have asked of him. The Eagles need to control the situation because he is on their team and he has responsibilites. it is very smart of Vick to just do what the Eagles, a first class organization, say.
And, I wasn’t whining. Just calling your “vick bounty website” an ignorant mess. if you want to do good, then do good. Trashing Vick is not helping you.
