Seriously – every time Vox makes a comment on this site, refer PFT to his Myspace Page.
Every time I’ve done it, he’s done for the thread. No more Vox comments. Doesn’t say a single word. Probably goes off to cry in his pillow and rub one out, imagining that one day he’ll find a woman who will both sleep with him and play Magic: The Gathering afterwards.

As a Cowboy fan I am happy to have some history..superbowl history..nothing to be ashamed of.. A. Rossum is a good move. In Dallas right now just interested in cleaning up the mistakes. As for some of the Eagles fans that like to rip us. Thats cool, the Eagles are a good team that have made it to the playoffs alot in the 2000′s. It’s great to have a team dynasty like that. Just ask Marv Levy.

Last year is last year, especially when you are approaching your mid 30′s. That avg has dropped 5+ yards and he has started to show a serious reluctance to take contact and run upfield (enough to get him benched).
But he can field a punt clean, which is better then what the Cowboys have now. I dont really get Cowboys fans. You point out something obvious like how Rossum has really been a dissapointment this year and is running out of gas (which is expected given his age) and you get posters getting super defensive just because the Cowboys signed him. Relax.

I’d rather have a guy that has the potential to win a Super Bowl. I darn sure don’t want a guy who is bound and determined to pass the ball, win or lose.

Sure. How are Jerome McDougle, Broderick Bunkley, Mike Patterson, Freddie Mitchell, Shawn Andrews and Corey Simon working out for you guys? We all know that you guys thing that Lito Sheppard sucks. That’s seven of the Eagirls last eight first round draft picks. The only second day pick I can see that has amounted to anything since 2000 is Trent Cole. I’d add Celek but he’s never caught more than 27 passes and 2 TDs in a season. Martellus Bennet did better than that last season as a second stringer playing behind the guy that the Eagirls passed up to take LJ Smith… Jason Witten (3rd round pick, by the way).
I’ll counter with Jay Ratliff, Tashard Choice, Patrick Crayton, and Bradie James as Cowboys second day picks since 2000, but I could have stopped at Jay Ratliff. Demarcus Ware, Felix Jones, Terence Newman in the first round.

Got to hand it to the Voxboys. They see a problem area and act immediately to fix it.
If they keep this up eventually they may have a slightly better than average team.
Honestly, JJ should use his pull to leave the tough NFC East and play in the NFC South instead. They may have a chance to make the playoffs.

Why should it make anybody uncomfortable? Consider the circumstances. The D had been on the field for like 8 minutes on that drive that ended with the Ratliff FG block, then the offense came in and scored in three plays, roughly 50 seconds and the D was back out there. They made some plays against a gassed prevent D, happens all the time. I know that relatively speaking, the Chefs suck but this is still the NFL and there’s not a whole lot of difference between the best teams and the worst teams. I’d love to think that the Cowboys can score that quickly all the time because I’d risk a gassed D for that, but I just don’t see it happening all the time or even a lot. They went out in OT and shut the Chefs down twice and they deserve credit for that.
