With multiple season-ending linebacker injuries on Sunday, the Bills brought in seven of them from tryouts on Tuesday.
Per a league source, the candidates were Chris Draft, Alex Lewis, Patrick Thomas, Anthony Waters, Matt Wilhelm, Leon Williams, and Jamie Winborn.
And the job with the crappy 1-4 team went to . . . Chris Draft.
The Bills also tried out one defensive back, Todd Johnson. And they signed him.

Well Florio, not all of us can have nice comfy jobs as the NFL rumor guy. That being said, playing on a crappy 1-4 team at NFL minimum > going to my 9-5 everyday listening to people griping and moaning.
I'd be a crappy football player on an NFL roster 7 days a week.

any rumors if we are ever going to sign a damn OT?I guess it makes no sense because they would have to learn our complex hi-octane offense, and might have multiple false start penalties during home games as a result.
The Bills are brutal. But out of all those guys they pick two guys cut from the Rams!!! Draft is 5 foot tall and 38 years old and has been cut from at least 3 different teams. Johnson is also 38 years old and is a career backup. Wilhelm at least started for SD before he got cut by the respectable Eagles. Leon Williams has talent just didnt fit the Browns 3-4. No idea what they are doing. Its like a real life "Major League" where the owner is TRYING to lose every game so he can move the team. We better trade for Derrick Johnson or I quit.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm just saying that I'd much rather be on the 2008 Lions at veteran minimum over going to a normal day job at less than $100k. How am I ragging on someone's job? I'm just saying that Florio probably pulls in a pretty good chunk of change, so he needs to see it in perspective.
