Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch is a few dollars poorer after the NFL demanded he fork over some cash for the Human Fund on Wednesday.
Vanden Bosch was fined $5,000 for a low hit on Peyton Manning during a Colts touchdown drive late in the first half. He was also flagged for it during the game, helping the Colts make their way down field for the score, and film review hasn’t helped Vanden Bosch understand what he did wrong.
“I don’t ever want to do anything to hurt the team,” Vanden Bosch
said. “But I don’t know if I could’ve done anything different
personally on my end.”
He should probably figure out something different lest he find himself in the same position this weekend. Tom Brady helped the rule come to fruition and referees have shown through five weeks that they are watching for it.
Human Fund! You musta watched a rerun last night.
Maybe he should have stayed on his feet after the inside spin move.
no one hits baby peyton and gets away with it.
where does all the penalty money go?
LOL, so what did he do wrong exactly Einstien?
This rule is a complete joke. No surprise at all the inspiration for it is Tom Brady.
Maybe they should let Brady wear a dress while he plays, too.
I’m sure Gisele has something smart looking & trendy he can wear to work.
You know, something that goes with the rest of his Patsys uniform.
Maybe something with ruffles and lace… perhaps complete with silk petticoats and a satin train, too…
Yes, Money for People.
George was the greatest.
I’ll take some of that jack.
nato2424-money goes to several differrent NFL related charities.
I’m amazed tat McNabb can be on his back in the Endzone and get hit by not 1 but 2 players late , neither of which get fined or a penalty; while players who almost hit Brady and Manning get fines…..

It goes to charity, minus Goodell’s 93% administration fee.

im amazed you dont understand that once the qb leaves the pocket and runs, he’s just another player.
no one touches peyton!!
I don’t think VDB could’ve done any different then what he did, I also know that PM didn’t call for the penalty (either of them). Although I understand protecting QB’s it’s getting a little out of hand.
As far as McNabb’s being hit…. I think that’s just fine by me… less yardage for the iggles!
Yeah McNabb becomes a runner and can get hit just like anyone else. What I dont get is why can McNabb get hurt every time he gets hurt when he is larger than every WR and the same size if not bigger than most TE’s in the league.
Who gets the fine money? Does the NFL donate the money to a charity?
It looked to me like VDB got tripped up trying to spin. Not much that he could have done about it.
As for McNabb; he was a runner and runners get hit when they’re down all the time. Maybe he got a little “extra” from the defense for running up the score.
I’m a Colts fan….but I think the flag was somewhat unnecessary, and the fine was definitely unnecessary.
Funny how an idiot here can turn a post about Peyton Manning into hating on the Patriots…
Get a life.
dudes are too big today to let them dive at he QB’s knees….they don’t bend so well….brady, palmer are two cheap shot examples…….even though Tommy is a whiner for pointing to the dude who went past him close to his knee…….should have blindsided him as payment for that
steeler-hater, You are a complete fool. A post about Peyton and you turn it into a Brady bash. You are no doubt a Ravens fan. You can’t beat the Steelers and your team is flagged for more penalties than every other team in the league. Then you weep. You’ll continue to look like fools all year for your unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Speaking of good sports, give my regards to your girl.

The fine money is divided equally between Jesse Jackson and Al Sharton’s “churches”.
/ chapnasty’s head explodes
Those complaining about QBs “calling for flags” or “pointing at players that clip them”…..
Have you EVER seen a Wide Receiver miss a catch and then NOT turn to the ref and grab at his wrist or jersey saying he was held?
hey TFBUCK…nice name by the way, classy
of course the WR complain but they didn’t point at another player and whine about getting hit…even CHAD after getting leveled last week just got up and moved on
