Chiefs will be without left tackle Albert

The offensive line issues of the Washington Redskins have been well chronicled this week, but its opponent Sunday is in no better shape.

The Chiefs will be without left tackle Branden Albert, who did not make the trip to Washington Saturday.

Albert's play has been inconsistent this year, but he's still the most talented player on a poor offensive line that has given up way too much pressure on Matt Cassel and can't block for Larry Johnson.

Wade Smith will start in place of Albert.  The Chiefs also activated tackle Barry Richardson from the practice squad, and released linebacker Justin Rogers.
