Redskins have another offensive line injury

One day after the Redskins learned left tackle Chris Samuels could miss the season, they added guard Chad Rinehart to the injury report as questionable with a shoulder injury.

Adding someone to the injury report Saturday is never a good sign, and the Redskins didn't need any more bad news regarding its beleaguered line. Rinehart, though, was recently demoted from Washington's ever shifting line, so the news shouldn't have a major impact.

Facing the Chiefs might be all the good news Washington needs this week anyhow.  The Chiefs have given up more yards per game than any defense, and they are 27th in sacks.

Despite that, I took the Chiefs to pull off the road upset for its first victory of the season in our PFT picks.  Kansas City has played hard for Todd Haley, and the Redskins could get tight at home with all the doom and gloom around the franchise this week.

Plus, Florio's unbeaten streak has me going a little wacky with my picks.

Mike, did you ever vote for Robert Byrd?

I know that you are a Democrat, and a lawyer, and you guys stick together so that you can retain power.

So you must have known about Byrd's KKK-leadership position past and still voted for him.

And that makes you a racist. You must know more about Byrd's history, do you know if he ever did anything really awful to black people while he ran the KKK?

I've said it before (numerous times), and I'll say it again: This team is so royally screwed, it's not even funny anymore.

As the article points out, this won't have much impact on the Redskins. Rinehart is pretty much a complete bust.

Rev. Dr. HollywoodWags, you almost make Vox look intelligent.

Florio didn't even write this article.

"Rinehart, though, was recently demoted from Washington's ever shifting line"

I don't think Rienhart was demoted. Will Montgomery is starting Sunday because Rienhart couldn't prctice this week with his injury.

I'm paraphrasing, but Zorn said they need to start someone who can practice what the O-line is working on.
