Bowe is not going anywhere guys, wishfull thinking he was pretty much the only reciever Cassel threw too today.

if anyone ever actually listened to Pioli or Haley when they talk this would not be a surprise, they are willing and open to do anything that will improve the team.

Schottenheimer resigned. Carl Peterson should have.
No way this team trades Bowe, Albert, or Dorsey. DJ maybe.
Cassel looks like a scared baby out there, but so did Trent in his first season when throwing to nobodys.

Teams win and lose primarily because of the front office and the coaching staff. You can clearly see that in Kansas City. Lamar Hunt was a great man, but he was to kind to fire coaches and especially general managers. He let Carl Peterson fire Schottenheimer and then he just turned him loose to destroy a great team. You can see what happens to a team when you have a horrible front office when you look at San Diego. Shottenheimer had a winning team and now look at that team. How do you spell Weirdo doo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the Chiefs would get a great general manager and a great coach it would be over. We brought a man in who had a losing career with (I think the Jets) and what happened he had a losing career with the Chiefs. Let’s get this strait. Someone doesn’t become a success by changing teams. Vince Lombardi was a success in Green Bay and Washington. We know what it takes but some idiots keep trying to invent the wheel.

When Belichick took over the Pats, they were coming off an 8-8 season (that they opened 6-2), and were 3 seasons removed from an AFC Championship. There was a LOT of roster turnover, moreso on the offensive side than the defensive side…..but Belichick also played a role in building that 1996 championship team too.
My point is, the Patriots did have some roster turnover, not a complete turnover…..but Belichick was starting with a much stronger team.

Dwayne Bowe would definitely be the hottest commodity. The Browns didn’t know what they had in Braylon Edwards until he was gone and apparently, neither do the Chiefs. Bowe is a major talent without the off-field headaches. There are too many teams that probably want his services, especially under that rookie contract.
By putting this out there, the Chiefs automatically find themselves in the de facto loser position of any transaction they are able to pull off. They are buying high and selling low.

Funny how some folks at ESPN thought that Cassel was worth the Chiefs 3rd overall pick in the draft. He’s a good QB but like all QBs they need talent around them. Trading Bowe would be a terrible move. Dorsey costs too much to move. DJ is the only one I could see going because he’s a much better 4-3 LB.

They are willing to trade Bowe, but want to keep Cassel. Yea cuz Cassel has proven to be pretty good this year. Who the hell do they plan on throwing to? A bad QB to a bad WR, yea that’s how you turn an organization around….

I think it would be STUPID to trade any of those three players! I still don’t like that we traded away T Rich, Kawika Mitchell, Jared Allen and Tony G – why give up our only remaining talent? Sounds like suicide? I don’t get it?!? The Chiefs are not in the same league as the Raiders. At least we can compete and have been close in all but one game. Keep the talent an build.
