Even though he traveled with the Bears to Atlanta, newly acquired defensive end Gaines Adams is not expected to play tonight.
According to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune, it’s looking like Adams will be unveiled by the Bears next week against the Bengals.
Adams, acquired this week in a deal with Tampa in exchange for a second-round pick in 2010, is looking like the successor to 32-year-old Adewale Ogunleye in Chicago. Ogunleye’s deal expires at the end of the year.

WOW, this is news.
It’s not like you didn’t already post this exact bit if info before, oh wait you did.
Slow news day????
Get used to it, Bears fans. Adams hasn’t “played” for the Bucs in over a year. Oh yeah, he’s technically been on the field. But when you know there is a 4 man pass rush, and the QB drops back and you can only see 3 defensive linemen on the TV screen, then you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Didn’t he pass away?
