Well, Redskins coach Jim Zorn didn’t get fired at halftime of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
But starting quarterback Jason Campbell did.
Todd Collins replaced Campbell to begin the second half, and he connected on the second snap with receiver Santana Moss for a 42-yard gain. The Redskins went on to score a field goal, knotting the game at three.
The move confirms the desperation that Zorn currently is experiencing. Whether that’s enough to save the day and/or Zorn’s job remains to be seen.
