Rams try to avoid NFL's Tiger Slam

The St. Louis Rams have lost 15 in a row over two seasons.  A loss today against the Jaguars would allow the Rams to match the 0-16 feat that the Lions accomplished in 2008.

For now, the Rams are in good shape.  Leading 10-6 in Jacksonville, Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis picked off a David Garrard pass inside the then, killing a drive that could have put the Jags ahead late in the third quarter.

So the Rams continue to hold a four-point lead as the final quarter commences.

I hope you didn’t jinx it for the Rams.

Losing 16 straight games between two seasons and losing all 16 games in one season are two different things. The latter is worse than the former, though both are pathetic. The Rams are a terrible team, but they will have to lose every game this season to tie the infamy of the 2008 Lions, not just this one game.
PS Will you (as in NBC’s web services management) finally fix the freaking login? It makes no sense that PFT reports that I’m logged in, only to post a comment and find out that I’m logged out, despite ticking the “Remember Me” box while logging in EVERY SINGLE TIME.
