Texans-Bengals one-liners

Texans LB Brian Cushing forced three turnovers in the team’s 28-17 road win over the Bengals.

Texans QB Matt Schaub completed passes to seven different receivers en route to 392 yards passing.

It was going to take more than a need to urinate to take Texans G Chris White off the field.

While the Texans rushing game still isn’t producing, RB Steve Slaton had an impact with six catches for 102 yards.

Texans DE Connor Barwin had his first career sack in the city he called home during his college days.

Said Bengals QB Carson Palmer, “We had a number of things go wrong, whether it was a turnover or a missed block. It was just poor execution across the board.”

Bengals DE Antwan Odom wasn’t up to talking to reporters after learning his season was over thanks to a ruptured right Achilles tendon.

Screen passes caused problems all day long for the Bengals defense.

There were no problems with new Bengals long snapper Clark Harris.

Bengals RB Cedric Benson, who entered the day as the NFL’s leading rusher, picked up only 44 yards on 16 carries.

Are any Bengals fans surprised by this outcome? It’s been a season filled with tremendous luck at the end of the half and game for the Bengals, who have not executed well most of every game, excluding their week 2 win at Lambeau.
Da Bears are going to be hungry this week after a close loss in Atlanta. Bengals better either demonstrate the ability to play four quarters of football, or they’ll be looking at wild card chances at best versus taking advantage of their schedule and AFC north.
