DeAngelo Hall gives free advice to Jim Zorn

By now, Redskins coach Jim Zorn may be used to having his decisions questioned by his bosses.

One of his players is also happy to help.  Cornerback DeAngelo Hall said that taking Jason Campbell out of Sunday’s loss was the wrong move.

“As far as the change of benching Jason in the second half, obviously
that didn’t work. So that’s not the change you need,” Hall said.  “I think if I was the
guy, I would’ve left Jason in . . .  I don’t think that was the right
move. Coach made that move. Ain’t nothing I can do about it. He made
that move, he had to live with it.”

Hall’s play this season, lovingly highlighted by Cris Carter Monday night, has been spotty. It’s probably never a bright idea to question your coach’s strategy, but it seems especially short-sighted from a player like Hall.

The good news for DeAngelo is he’ll have nothing to complain about this week.

Zorn has confirmed an earlier report from ESPN’s Matt Mosley that Campbell will start Monday night against the Eagles.

DeAngelo Hall was cut for being a bust with the Raiders for God’s sake! his opinion is valued by WHO????? Don’t talk until you prove you can play!!! That should just make Hall quiet for the rest of the season!!!!

Maybe Scrub Hall should worry about tackling and maybe covering someone for once rather than worry about who is playing QB. Overpaid drama queen.

jason campell sucks…i would much rather see todd collins in there let campells contract end and trade him asap

Always good to hear a player who should be picking splinters out of his ass each week offering suggestions on who should and shouldn’t be playing. Hall needs to concentrate on not getting getting run over by quarterbacks and worry less about who may or may not be taking snaps from center. What a dick!

Remember last year the Redskins started 6-2 and Zorn was being called a genius?
Josh McDaniels is the Jim Zorn of 2009.
It’s ALWAYS all farts and giggles when you win and your troubled WR can play nice and hug and kiss you in front of everyone.
As they say …. adversity doesn’t build character it reveals it.

DeAngelo Hall needs to shut up and try to live up to his contract. Just because the Redskins pay you a lot of money doesn’t make you a good player.

the Redskins play on MNF? In the year they set the record for viewership on ESPN, they are trying to set the record for lack of viewership.

How about Jason Campbell? would you rather see him in over campell and collins? I think you’re on to something here CesarM, letting players contracts end, then trading them, rather than them going to free agency and signing elsewhere. My question to you is, where does CAMPELL SIGN?

DeAngelo couldn’t tackle a Pop Warner running back, let alone a NFL back, so maybe he should keep those thoughts to himself.

MeAngelo Hall: can’t tackle…can’t cover….. The RAIDERS cut him. The market wasn’t that great for him, but Snyder still overpaid for this cancer. Typical Snyder.

Uh, what does this have to do with anything? Not a little bitter there, are you, sport?

You know how there are players that may not be great, but always seem to end up on winning teams?
    Hall isn’t that guy.
Teams he is on seem to reach new levels of suckitude.

Hall is an illiterate moron, and just the type of player who leads their team to a losing record–Maybe u should be reunited with the dog killer..

DeAngelo Hall-i represent a multimillion dollar corporation seeking atheletes wanting xtra endorsements. We feel u are always in perfect position for the product we r selling. U see we are selling ad space to promote our company. We want to replace “HALL” and the “#23″ on the back of your jersey since television captures it so much when you’re in coverage. We’d like to replace it with “SIX FLAGS ” and right under that with each theme park we have. Since u already work for me, i’m quite sure u will do it for free. that ‘s just my “advice” to u.

De’Angelo Hall hasn’t proved much intelligence in making his own decisions.
who is he to make the coach’s decisions?
hall should be unemployed. florio jr. can cover better than that guy.

  18. packers4life says: Oct 20, 2009 6:12 PM

Isn’t this the same DeAngelo Hall who got cut by the Raiders? …I’m just sayin’.

  19. Backinthesaddle says: Oct 20, 2009 8:20 PM

De’Angelo Hall should be renamed Richard Cranium.
