Galloway doesn’t know the playbook, which is why he was not effective, and benched, and subsequently released…
So please Dolphins sign him and listen to all of his inside info on the Pats playbook.
This experiment was Donald Hayes all over again…talented, but not bright enough to grasp the playbook and schemes.
I hated Galloway for the way he held out on the Hawks years ago, but while he was with Tampa I was warming up to him as he seemed like a good teammate to have. It’s a shame it didn’t work out as it hurts both the Pats and Galloway.

I don’t think it’s a question of him not having enough left in the tank. Our offense is complex and asks a lot of the players. Some just don’t get it. See Doug Gabriel in ’06 or Chad Jackson even more recently. He’s still really fast at any rate, and should be picked up by someone.

Clearly, he does not know the Patriots playbook. Please do pick him up Dolphins and bleed him for every ounce of his lack of understanding of how the Patriots offense works. I am sure it would do nothing but cause confusion. If he knew the offense he’d still be on the team.

No, he does not know the Patriots playbook. If he actually knew the playbook, he might still be a Patriot.
OTOH, the Dolphins and Pats probably have a pretty good idea regarding one another’s playbooks. Galloway would just confuse the Dolphins if he tried to explain what he thinks he knows.

He would have collected his pay regardlessm, as he is a vested veteran who was on the roster in week one. The benefit he gets from them cutting him is that he gets to choose his next spot rather than going through waivers.

The Pats brass show a lot of class by releasing Galloway before 4pm, which allows him to choose his next team instead of being subject to waivers and getting picked up by any garbage team. Nice move by the, admittedly, not generally empathetic Belichick.
Of course, are there really any teams still interested in Galloway?
