Galloway hasn't heard from Chiefs

Contrary to a report originating from WEEI in Boston that free-agent receiver Joey Galloway was en route to Kansas City for a workout, Steve Duemig of WDAE in Tampa reports that, as of 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Galloway hasn’t heard a peep from the Chiefs.

Galloway became a free agent immediately upon his release from the Patriots.

The Baltimore Ravens reportedly were interested in trading for Galloway.  If so, they presumably are interested in signing him as a free agent.

Maybe he was simply unable to *catch* his flight.

I like ‘EEI as much as the next guy, but I would not rely on them for any BREAKING news. They hardly ever have early information, and simply make up a lot of rumors to keep things interesting.

Expect the only thing Galloway is hearing are the crickets in the background and the voices of his family welcoming him home.
He’s a good guy but I think his playing days are over.

If Brady can’t make a star out of him, he’s a lost cause. Plus his smile freaks me out— looks like the joker, or Vox with a tan — minus the Mario Bros. mustache.

Are you kidding Puppies? You doubt WEEI but believe WEEI-wannabe douchebag Steve “The Big Loser” Duemig???? Really? That guy is the sorriest excuse for a sports radio host this side of Gerry Callahan. He has somehow parlayed, like, 3 weeks of having a PGA Tour card into being the local loudmouth in a backwater small city. Why would you believe anything from that crap. I suffered through 5 years of WDAE being the only sports radio in that town and Duemig made me listen to adult comtemporary music in his time slot.

I think the speed / quickness of the Pats offense was just beyond what he could handle. He was having trouble catching the ball and it just looked to me as if his reflexes / hand eye coordination were a fraction behind what they needed to be.
Joey has had a really nice long career. It may now be coming to an end.

Interesting. Was Brady playing that well 4 weeks ago? Brady hasn’t looked like himself until the Blow Out In The Snow on Monday Night.
Since the Patriots weren’t going to play him, releasing him was the only logical thing to do for everyone. Only Joey knows if his career is over. The Ravens could use a deep threat.
