Tinoisamoa out for season

On Wednesday morning, we told you that starting Bears starting linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa might be out for the season.

We can tell you now that he is.

The seven-year veteran has elected to undergo surgery, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.  It may be a microfracture procedure.

It appears Hunter Hillenmeyer and Nick Roach will both start this Sunday, although it's unclear who will start at middle linebacker and who will start on the strong side.

This is the third time in four years in which Tinoisamoa has missed at least five games.

So much promise this season had on Defense and it just all went down the drain.

This has to be a record for you Florio for most stories about the Bears (in 1 day) that just weren't about Jay Cutler when he was traded.

Should have traded for Ernie Sims, he could have had a reunion with Rod. Should have been Sims for Mark Anderson

That's too bad Bears fans. But hey, look at it this way, there's one more excuse you can use when the Packers sweep you this year.
