Michael David Smith, the first actual Rumor Mill writer we ever hired, will be rejoining PFT, effective immediately.
MDS will again be working with us on a part-time basis, just as he did through the end of 2008. His primary joint will continue to be AOL’s FanHouse.com, which we’ll now mention a lot more often as a show of gratitude for its willingness to let MDS jump back into the PFT pool.

Nice. I really liked his old work, and every once in awhile I go to the AOL blog and his stuff comes up, especially his MMA live blogs and stuff.
I’m actually glad to have him back, even though I always thought he was kind of a prick.
Hopefully this means Aaron whatever is gone for good. Dude sucked, no offense. Curran isn’t much better but at least he’s good for some puns in the headlines now and again. I can tell he works on them. MDS was the best guy you had. Rosenthal is good too but ever since I saw that video I can’t help but thinking of him like someone’s shrill, stat-memorizing little brother
