After missing four games in each of the last two seasons, Anquan Boldin has managed to play the first five of this season.
That modest streak is in jeopardy after Boldin missed practice for a second straight day Thursday, but the Cardinals aren’t giving up hope that he could play Sunday night against the Giants. Boldin went through a “rigorous workout” with an athletic trainer Thursday and may test the ankle on Friday.
The Cardinals are otherwise healthy, but could use Boldin to test the middle of New York’s pass defense, especially its safeties, who struggled against the Cardinals.
Steve Breaston, who is on pace for his second consecutive 1,000-yard season, will start in Boldin’s place if “Q” can’t suit up.

Breaston is good enough to replace him. Q won’t be missed in the offense.
Then he should have been traded.
I think Ann is a bit better than Q for a nickname.
Arizona has one of the most ridiculous receiving corps ever. ever.
all 3 of those guys would be #1 guys on any other team. Breaston is an amazing talent that has been overshadowed by Boldin & Fitz on the Cards. The Cardinals should have traded Boldin and gotten a first round pick out of him.
