Yeah, MB has a lot potential. Whether or not he flourishes under Wade and Garrett is yet to be seen.
His off the field antics may illustrate how much guidance this young man needs. But discipline ins’t really much of a priority in Dallas unfortunately.

The Bengals should play Chase Coffman. He was a stud at MU and I’m not even sure he has been active. He was a 3rd round pick so they must have liked something about him.

I HIGHLY doubt the Bengals were trading off Coles or Ocho. That won’t happen this year. Ocho will play out his contract and maybe get and extension (if he’ll accept it) after the way he’s playing so far this year. No way the Bengals would give up either of those two. I can maybe see trading Henry off though. Caldwell is taking his spot on the roster. But to think we’d give up Ocho or Coles in the trade is stupid. Although Coles is not panning out, the Bengals still won’t let him go that quick. Think before you speak people.

How many of them made the JV team???
I’m pretty sure that 10 of them made America’s Team and the other two are on the practice squad. The Cowboys have really loved their draft picks the last few years because it gave them players like Tashard Choice, David Buehler, Orlando Scandrick, Felix Jones, Mike Jenkins, Marty B, Miles Austin, Anthony Spencer, Alan Ball, Victor Butler….so many more if you go back 5 years. This team has a lot of young talent, it’s not surprising that they would get some interest.

I bet the Bengals were offering one of their veteran wide receivers. Most likely Coles. Or quite possibly #85 since Caldwell is playing so well and they love Chris Henry…they can afford to trade a receiver for a good, young tight end.
Why not target the mostly impatient Jerry Jones. He bit on the Roy Williams bait last year. The fact that he brought up the Roy Williams trade when gleefully announcing his ability to walk away from a big deal suggests he probably regrets the trade he made for Roy last year.
Should Cowboys fans feel good about the fact that the man who controls EVERYTHING probably could have traded his #2 tight end for the Bengals #85 to play alongside Austin Miles? Depends on how Cowboys fans truly feel about Patrick Crayton and Roy Williams.
Makes perfect sense for the Bengals. Go young and get rid of a self-centered (talented) receiver.

It’s just a matter of time before he’s caught dogging it on a play where he Could Have laid a critical block to free up a TD run or he Could Have caught someone running an INT back for a TD but instead chose to sulk about a bad throw that wasnt his fault. Waaaa.
I thought the Bengals were done collecting turds.

Im thinking Bennett would do well elsewhere, he gets small playing time and when he does,hes blocking anyway. But again JJ likes talking it up, apparently it wasnt worth it, he woulda pulled the trigger quicker than Minnesota did when they gave the key to the city and 475 picks for the Multiple Personalities of H. MB doesn’t even know where to line up. Sure, he’s a talent in the rough…..the WAY rough. I’d like to think he will develop into a mainstay at Dallas but so far he seems more into self promotion (rap,etc) than he does football. We could have afforded to let him go but at what price MORT ? That was really “breaking news”. I’m glad it was them calling us rather than vice versa.

Would be nice if Mort would have said what was offered. Heard a bunch of in-house preseason hype of what Bennett would be doing this season. To date, he’s done squat (unless you count making a fool out of yourself in public and in the media–in which case he has excelled…)!
