Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was held out of practice today with a hip injury, but he's listed as probable on the injury report and expects to play Sunday against the Bears.
Ochocinco was not listed on the injury report all week, and it is not clear how he suffered the hip injury, but it's a near certainty that he'll play. Ochocinco is coming off his first 100-yard game of the season, having caught five passes for 103 yards in Sunday's loss to the Texans. So far this season Ochocinco has 29 catches for 455 yards and three touchdowns.
In other Bengals injury news, safety Roy Williams is expected to miss his second straight week with a forearm injury. Williams is listed as doubtful after missing practice for the third straight day.
Bengals defensive tackle Tank Johnson was held out of Thursday's practice with a foot injury but fully participated on Friday and is probable for Sunday.

......one would think he would rest if needed.......
But not ol 85, he is on Twitter talking bout going to see Saw 6 and paying for the first 100 ppl.
With this news and the downgrading of Chris Henry...this is very likely the week we see Lavernues Coles finally show up with a big game.
not a good week for ex-cowboys on the bengals, eh?
i missed breakfast......but i still expect to eat today
for as much crap as ocho gets, he actually doesn't come off as a bad guy, especially since dooshmenzadah is in SEA. Thank god he stayed away from the vikes.
1st of all, him going to a movie probably isn't going to injur his hip anymore. I'm sure it's only sore after being on the field for a while. He'll be down at Newport On The Levy tonight more than likely. I've seen him quite a bit there.
2nd of all, I highly doubt it'll be Coles that will showcase Sunday. It'll end up being Caldwell and/or Henry. Henry will move up in roster if Chad gets benched. Then Caldwell and Henry will light the Bears up. Coles isn't worth a $hit yet. He's not used to a decent QB throwing at him. He should be by now but he's not. So no, don't count on Coles being the one to show up. He's almost as reliable as our nubby TE's we have.

I understand that football players are people too and deserve time off.....but come on. They get days off Mon and/or Tues and work 6-7 months of the year. To not be able to practice then head for the movies or whatever else to me is jus wrong. Kinda like skipping school then going out that night. (Damn, I sound like my father) LOL
I definitely don't see that as being wrong. It's pretty stupid to think the guy can't go out with his woman just b/c he couldn't play a full contact, hard hitting sport during the day. LOL Makes no sense to me. If school consisted of playing football for 2.5-4 hours and you missed b/c of an injury, I don't see a problem with you going out later that night to see a movie. It's not like he's going out to a club and dancing. That I wouldn't be happy about. let the man have a life for god's sake.
