After giving the so-so Pittsburgh secondary a big boost last week with his return, Steelers safety Troy Polamalu missed the first two days of practice this week.
Polamalu was back on the field with the first team Friday, though, a sign that he is nearly sure to play against the Vikings this week. Polamalu is recovering from a sprained MCL.
With Pittsburgh's rush defense playing well this year, the Vikings may hurt Pittsburgh like they did the Ravens: through the air.
