With their bye week behind them, ten injured Cowboys are sufficiently healthy to be “probable” for Sunday’s critical home game against the Falcons.
They are running back Marion Barber (thigh, thumb), tackle Marc Colombo (ankle), guard Leonard
Davis (thumb), center Andre Gurode (knee), safety Michael Hamlin (wrist), linebacker
Curtis Johnson (hamstring), running back Felix Jones (knee), safety Gerald Sensabaugh
(thumb), linebacker DeMarcus Ware (foot), and receiver Roy Williams (ribs).
As to Roy Williams, coach Wade Phillips expressed concern regarding the wideout’s ability to play. The designation of “probable” technically means there’s a virtual certainty that Williams will be available for normal duty.
As previously mentioned, Ware and Barber have fractures, but they too are probable.
For the Falcons, safety Antoine Harris (knee)
is out, safety William Moore (hamstring) and running back Jerious Norwood (hip)
are doubtful, running back Ovie Mughelli (calf)
is questionable, and tight end Justin Peelle (ankle) and running back Michael Turner (chest)
are probable.
Tony Romo left Roy Williams out to dry @ Broncos. Romo over threw recievers all day long. Roy Williams was over thrown by Romo causing him to expose himself resulting in injury. Romo is not a starting QB………
What is the over\under on Felix Jones finishing the game?
Yeah, broken thumbs seem to be quite popular with Dallas this year. It’s ‘the’ injury to have. Marion Barber, Gerald Sensebaugh, & Leonard Davis, all have broken thumbs.
I think Barber is still going to be limited with his thigh but he wants to play, 1) because he’s a pretty tough guy and he likes to play, and 2) He’s probably worried he’ll lose his starting job to Choice if he misses too much time.
Nothing new here. Cowboys fans are always wondering if Roy will show up
As a Dallas fan, I love Jerry Jones, but he blew it with Roy WIlliams…..how do you give up that much for a guy who had one olid year but averages under 700 yards and 4 tD’s per season….I work atthe stadium and broke the news of the “trade” of Martellys Bennett for a 2…I have inside info that next years coach will be Mike Holmgren…lock it in
Jason Avant > Roy Williams
No, it didn’t click right away between Roy n Romo, but I’ll bet it will. And I think it will be great. Roy gives what he’s got and Romo certainly tries.
I’m a Steelers fan and have never commented on a Dallas article, but something occurred to me when I popped over to see who’s healthy this week. There are a couple of so-called Dallas fans who rant on every minor post about the Steelers. Yet here’s an article about their team and where are they? I just don’t get that. Our last SB w/Dallas was almost 15 years ago and Dallas won. Why the obsession w/us? Seems like they’d be more concerned w/their own team and division rivals. Anyway, pardon the interruption …
(@Popeye … Would you be happy w/Holmgren or would you prefer a younger guy like Josh McDaniels or Tomlin?)
“I think Barber is still going to be limited with his thigh but he wants to play, 1) because he’s a pretty tough guy and he likes to play”
Hell, even Jim, I mean Jerry Jones thinks he’s a puss.

Roy Who?
Florio is confused again, EskinSux.
Roy Williams plays for the Bengals now. At least, he’s the only Roy Williams I’ve ever seen make a play.
