Lost in the Texans build-a-big-lead-then-hold-on victory over the 49ers is that receiver Andre Johnson landed in a hospital after the game with what has been described as a chest injury.
“We’re concerned,” coach Gary Kubiak said after the 24-21 victory. “He could not go at the end and so there is concern until we see.”
Johnson suffered the injury in the fourth quarter. He had two catches for 62 yards before leaving the game.
As our friends at Rotoworld point out, the fact that Johnson went to the hospital for evaluation could mean that he has one or more bruised or broken ribs.
