Eric Wright active two days after car crash

Two days after flipping his Mercedes several times, Browns cornerback Eric Wright is active for the team’s game with the Packers on Sunday afternoon.

Police said Wright was “lucky to be alive” after the accident, but he escaped serious injury and will be in his customary starting spot in the Cleveland secondary. Also active for the Browns are all 12 of the players who battled the flu this week, including defensive lineman Corey Williams who was listed as questionable on Friday.

The Browns won’t have two of their tight ends in the lineup, however. Both Steve Heiden and Robert Royal are inactive, leaving Greg Estandia as the starter. Kicker Phil Dawson is also inactive and Billy Cundiff will do the kicking for the fifth straight game.

For the Packers, the list of inactives is about what we expected. Tackle Chad Clifton is out, leaving T.J. Lang to protect Aaron Rodgers’s blind side, as is recently signed running back Ahman Green. Linebacker Brandon Chillar, who was questionable with a neck injury, is active.

NFL.com has all the rest of the inactives for the Browns and Packers.
